Publications/Presentations:

  • Author/co-author of more than 200 publications in refereed journals, conference proceedings and patents.

  • The publication list includes three monographs, seven textbooks, such as textbooks “General and Inorganic Chemistry for Biologists and Technologists”, “Information and Communication Technologies in Chemistry Teaching”, tutorials for atomic-absorption and atomic-emission spectroscopy etc., and 5 Ukrainian patents.

  • Many invited lectures were given at universities and research laboratories.

  • Organising committees for a few national/international conferences in chemistry and education.

  • The list of some recent publications is enclosed.

Teaching experience:

  • In total, the teaching experience numbers about 20 years and includes more than twenty subjects which were taught to students of Departments of Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology and Industrial Pharmacy.

  • In particular, the following chemical disciplines were lectured: Inorganic Chemistry; Analytical Chemistry; Spectroscopic Methods in Chemistry; Environmental Chemistry; Ecology; Introduction to Computer Chemistry; Instrumentation for Chemical Analysis; Pharmaceutical Quality System.

Research interests and hands-on experience in experimental work:

  • development of new experimental techniques in analytical chemistry;

  • application of information and communication technologies in chemistry teaching;

  • formation of chemical competencies in a mixed learning environment;

  • emission and absorption spectroscopy methods in chemical analysis.

Command of the English language:
